Safety fears for aid workers mount amid ongoing airstrikes in Yemen

The first planes loaded with medical supplies and humanitarian aid landed in the embattled Yemeni capital of Sanaa, more than two weeks after Saudi-led airstrikes began in the country.


However, the International Committee of the Red Cross has raised concerns that aid workers are being targeted in Yemen.



"We're hearing disturbing reports. Health-care facilities have been damaged as a result of collateral damage. Ambulances are being stolen in Aden and health-care workers targeted, which is unacceptable," Cedric Schweizer, who leads the ICRC team in Yemen, said in a statement released by the group.
