St. Louis County police chief calls Ferguson police shooting an 'ambush'

An investigation is underway in Ferguson into the shooting of two police officers that took place Wednesday night during a protest following the resignation of the city police chief

St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar said during a press briefing on Thursday that identifying the shooter or shooters is the department's "No. 1 priority," but said that no suspects have been taken into custody. The two officers suffered serious injuries, though none are life-threatening and both officers were released from the hospital on Thursday morning
