Her name is Shuéme, and she's a young female Great White Owl that was unveiled in June — although most soccer fans got their first real look at her on Saturday during the draw for the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada


Per FIFA:



Shuéme, whose name is inspired by the French word for owl (chouette) as a tribute to Canada’s status as a bilingual nation, embraces the expansive and inclusive soul of Canada as a multicultural country, and will become a familiar sight from coast to coast in the months ahead. Read more...
