Even having one of the strongest advocates for women in the workplace doesn't insulate Facebook from legal complaints of female employees


Chia Hong, a former Facebook employee who worked at the company from 2010 until she was fired in 2013, is suing the social network for discrimination and harassment based on her gender and race, according to a lawsuit filed this week in California


Hong is represented by Lawless and Lawless, one of the two law firms that is also representing interim Reddit CEO Ellen Pao in her ongoing case against Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, the famed venture capital firm where Pao previously worked as a junior partner before getting fired.
