Missing British schoolgirls may be on their way to Syria

LONDON — Police issued an alert Friday for three schoolgirls who they suspect are traveling to Syria.

The three friends, 15-year-old Shamima Begum, 16-year-old Kadiza Sultana and another 15-year-old girl flew from Gatwick airport to Istanbul on Tuesday, according to police
