IBM Watson is starting to think in Japanese, with Softbank’s help

Watson, IBM’s massively intelligent, cognitive computer, has many skills. It can play and win at Jeopardy, diagnose PTSD, deep-dive our tweets and cook up delicious recipes from seemingly incongruous ingredients


But understanding and thinking in Japanese is not one of them. Not yet, at least.
