'Song For My Unborn Son' by Sam Martin will give parents all the feels

LOS ANGELES — Months after Sam Martin's wife told him she was pregnant, he felt compelled to sit at his piano, and write a song about the son he has yet to hold

Martin saw the heartbeat in an ultrasound. A melody struck him. And like his child who will enter this world in mid-March, "Song For My Unborn Son" was born.

"The lyric came right then — 'I'm going to love you anyway,'" Martin, 32, told Mashable. "I almost started crying just singing it over and over again. ... It was a spiritual experience."
