PARK CITY, Utah — It's easy to get caught up in the deplorable darkness of The Hunting Ground, a stirring account of how American colleges and universities systematically repress sexual assault claims pretty much for one reason: Campus rape is bad for business.


In its late-afternoon world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, people at the jampacked Marc Theatre audibly gasped at many of the documentary's shameful statistics that flashed onscreen, like how 20% of women report being raped in college, while 40% of colleges reported zero rapes in 2012
