Woody Allen, 'Transparent' make Amazon essential and wow TV is getting expensive

LOS ANGELES — Everyone agrees that TV has never been better, and it better be, because the price just went up — again.

Keeping up with all the buzziest and awards-worthy shows will cost you about $125 per month. But that's only after Amazon announced itself Sunday with two Golden Globes for Transparent and then, on Tuesday, declared it had signed Woody Allen to try out this TV thing
