The chilling interviews from the middle of the hostage crises in France

French broadcaster BFMTV recorded interviews with attackers during Friday's hostage crisis, hours before the men were killed in a police raid.


The conversations, one with Cherif Kouachi and one with Amedy Coulibaly, shed light on the mindset of the attackers in the midst of separate standoffs with police.



Cherif Kouachi and Said Kouachi, two brothers suspected of killing 12 people in the Charlie Hebdo terror attack, are dead after an hours-long standoff with police near Charles de Gaulle Airport. Simultaneously, Coulibaly took hostages at a kosher market in the Paris neighborhood of Vincennes; he was wanted for the shooting of a Paris policewoman on Thursday.
