I am aware that Gizmodo dot com's core audience probably does not overlap much with that of telenovelas. (To the valiant few in the middle of the Venn diagram, hello, hooray!) But here's something: Everyone has been saying Jane the Virgin is the smartest new show on television, and they have a point.
