The New Republic to halt publication until 2015 after staff walkouts

The exodus of staffers from The New Republic on Thursday has led to more fallout: The December issue of the magazine has now been postponed until 2015.

Scheduled to hit newsstands on Dec. 15, the issue has been postponed until February, following the decision by several former staffers to pull their work from the magazine, according to Ryan Lizza, a TNR contributing editor who also asked to have his name removed from the masthead on Thursday.
