Teenage suicide bomber attacks Kabul high school during theater performance

A teenage suicide bomber attacked a high school in Kabul on Thursday during a stage performance, killing at least two people and injuring 20

The attack took place in a theater at the French Cultural Centre, located on the grounds of Esteqlal High School, also known as Lycée Esteqlal. The school is run on contract by the French government.

Footage of the blast was posted on Facebook shortly after the incident. Performers are seen on stage immediately before a large explosion shakes the room. The bomber appears to have been in the crowd viewing the performance. Read more...
