Bill Cosby urges 'black media' to stay 'neutral' over rape allegations in new interview

Bill Cosby said he expects "black media" to have a "neutral mind" when reporting on the many sexual-abuse allegations against him in a new interview published Sunday

“Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism, and when you do that, you have to go in with a neutral mind,” he told The New York Post's "Page Six" section.

The comedian said his lawyers have advised him not to speak to media about the allegations made by more than 20 women

"They don't want me talking to the media," Cosby said, before he abruptly ended the phone interview. Throughout the interview, however, "Page Six" reported that the comedian sounded "upbeat." Read more...
