'Dancing With the Stars' Week 8: Dynamic duos dazzle

Week eight on Dancing with the Stars brought us double duty again, with (almost) each pair performing twice


Once in the traditional individual dances, which were dynamic duo-themed this week, and all but one pair dancing again in the dance offs later in the night. We learned that whomever got the highest judges scores would not only be safe from elimination, but would not have to compete in the dance off round.

Lea and Artem kicked off the night with a performance that had them get into character as Bonnie and Clyde for a high energy jazz routine. The pair started the evening in second place on the leaderboard and with the third highest overall scores for the season. To channel these personas, they enlisted the help of a Hollywood acting coach. We learned in the package that Artem is not a great actor — and judging solely on that tape alone, neither is Lea. Once on stage, they danced to Miranda Lambert’s "Somethin' Bad." (Seriously, how do you not go with 2Pac OR Bey and Jay who both have tracks entitled "Bonnie and Clyde"?)
