Report: Uber probing New York City exec for tracking journalist

Uber is investigating its top New York City executive for using the company's "God view" tool to track a journalist, according to a report.

The exec, Josh Mohrer, is the general manager of Uber NYC. According to BuzzFeed Mohrer used God view to catalog trips taken by Johana Bhuiyan, a reporter for that publication

Reps from Uber could not be reached for comment.

According to the report, Bhuiyan went to Uber's Long Island City headquarters in early November to interview Mohrer.
