PS4 named Australia's most popular console in history

Playstation 4 is the fastest selling console in the history of Australia, according to sales figures from NPD Group Australia.

Despite a rough start at the Nov. 29 launch last year, the trusty PlayStation apparently used all the attention to get back on track and achieve this milestone

In December last year, Microsoft's Xbox One consoles had the largest ever launch in Australian history, with 65,917 consoles sold in three days, due in part to the devastating PS4 drought just before their Australian launch, which saw a lack of deliveries of the console to local stores and Christmas stockings across the country.
