Man accused of killing woman and posting gory images on 4chan arrested

A man suspected of killing a woman near Seattle and posting pictures of her corpse on the online message board 4chan was arrested on Thursday morning.

Police in Wilsonville, Oregon said Dave Kalac, 33, turned himself on Wednesday night, ending the manhunt.

Kalac is suspected of killing his girlfriend Amber Lynn Coplin, 30, at her apartment on Tuesday

Roughly 30 minutes before her death was reported to the police, someone posted gory pictures of what appeared to be a dead woman on 4chan. On Wednesday night, the Kitsap County Sheriff office said in a press release that they believed the pictures were authentic and indeed showed Coplin's dead body.
