Ferguson cop testimony: Michael Brown looked 'like a demon'
In a highly unusual move, St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch on Monday night released transcripts from the grand jury hearing into the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri
The grand jury voted not to indict Darren Wilson, the police officer who shot Brown, setting off a night of protests in Ferguson and around the country.
Perhaps the most critical testimony in the hearing came from Wilson himself. Below is a selection from Wilson's testimony, in which he describes his fatal encounter with Brown and Brown's friend on Aug. 9. The transcript has been condensed; the full transcript and the other grand jury evidence is available from St. Louis Public Radio.
