"Anaconda" hitmaker Nicki Minaj rapped about redheads during her dedication to host country Scotland before rallying the crowd at the SSE Hydro to join her in a sing-a-long of The Proclaimers' "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)," which of course everyone knew.




That was among the many musical memories made at Sunday's MTV EMA festivities that also included a Minaj medley and performances from U2, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Kiesza, Enrique, Charli XCX, Royal Blood and Slash.

MTV EMA host Nicki Minaj kept with the night's broad time-travel theme, giving the crowd doses of the past, present and future.
