Prostate and testicular cancer are also a concern in dogs, especially those that have been neutered. Kerri Marshall, DVM, and Chief Veterinary Officer at Trupanion, a medical insurance provider for cats and dogs said that "the exact cause is still unknown, but studies have found that prostate cancer has been reported more in neutered dogs than intact dogs."
