What You Need to Know About the JPMorgan Chase Cyberattack

JPMorgan Chase revealed Thursday that it had sustained a cyberattack that compromised the contact information of 76 million households and 7 million small businesses. Experts say that it's a crisis situation for the bank, though it's uncertain what the hackers will do with the stolen data.

"It's fresh, it's huge, and it's a target list of people who qualify for Chase accounts," Tod Beardsley, engineering manager at security firm Rapid7, told Mashable in an email.
