Questions Remain Over Missing Students as Protests Escalate in Mexico

Unrest escalated in Mexico on Tuesday as students and teachers took to the streets calling for justice over the disappearance of 43 college students in the country's south late last month.


Dozens of students were rounded up by police on Sept. 26 during deadly clashes in Iguala, Guerrero. Two weeks later, 43 of the students are still missing.



The government of Guerrero was forced to suspend operations on Tuesday, after an office building in the state capital, Chilpancingo, was torched during a demonstration the previous day for the missing students. Read more...
