Pasties and Purrs: Internet Cat Inspires Burlesque Dancer

Internet cats have inspired a lot of things, including a burlesque routine.

In a little more than two years of practicing the art, Melody Magpie, who requested to be addressed by her stage name, has incorporated strange, Internet-centric themes into the traditional strip-tease stylings of burlesque. Her most popular act is an homage to Lil Bub, featuring a paper mache version of the cat's head.
