Ebola Risk in Dallas Eases as No New Cases Reported So Far
The absence of new Ebola cases found in Dallas have put the city on track to reduce its watch list, an acknowledgment that the risk of a further outbreak in the Texas city has lessened.
"This is a critical weekend," Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said Saturday, according to Dallas-Fort Worth ABC affiliate WFAA.
Forty-eight people remain on the watch list; they landed there after being in contact with Thomas Eric Duncan, the first person to be diagnosed with Ebola in the United States (he died on Oct. 8).
