Want to Delete U2's Free Album? Apple's Created a Help Page for That

Echoing what U2's manager Guy Oseary said, Apple is telling iTunes users that if they don't want U2's free album then they can delete it. The tech giant created a help page Monday to explain how to remove it from users' iTunes libraries and their purchases list.

The move comes after Apple made the album, Songs of Innocence, available for free to more than 500 million iTunes users in 119 countries. Instead of giving users the option to download it on their own terms, Apple and U2 forced it into users' iTunes libraries as an already "purchased" album. The strategy spawned angry comments.
