Intel Unveils a Connected Wheelchair, With Help From Stephen Hawking

It’s not just light bulbs and thermostats joining the Internet of things — Intel has now given the wheelchair a new layer of connectivity.


On Tuesday, the company announced its newest smart device in partnership with world-renowned physicist Stephen Hawking. The new connected wheelchair was designed by a team of engineering interns at Intel as part of the company's Intel Collaborators program
