Apple TV Update Brings Beats to Your TV

Apple quietly updated its Apple TV set-top box last week with fresh software that includes a new, more iOS 8-like design — and, for the first time, Beats Music.

In June, Apple paid north of $3 billion dollars for Beats Audio, which includes the hardware earbud and headphone business as well as the still relatively new Beats Music subscription service. Since then, we haven’t seen or heard much from Beats founders and new Apple employees Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, nor have we seen much of their products, at least in connection with Apple's own offerings.
