Tony Stewart's Car Strikes, Gravely Injures Teen Driver Walking on Track

Police were investigating after NASCAR veteran Tony Stewart's car allegedly hit and seriously injured a fellow driver walking toward him following an accident Saturday night at an upstate New York dirt track, according to multiple media reports.

Witnesses said Stewart and Kevin Ward Jr. collided during the sprint-car race, and Ward, who is 17, got out of his car and began wildly gesticulating at one of the biggest stars in auto racing.
