Nascar Driver Tony Stewart Won't Race Following Fatal Accident

Race-car driver Tony Stewart will no longer compete in Nascar's Sprint Cup event Sunday at Watkins Glen in New York, after his car struck and killed a fellow competitor on a dirt race track Saturday night, Stewart's manager announced Sunday

Greg Zipadelli said during a press conference that Stewart will no longer compete in Sunday's event. The announcement comes just hours after Zipadelli announced Stewart would drive, adding that the race would be "business as usual."

"It's an unbelievable tragedy ... it's a very tough and emotional time for everybody," Zipadelli said. "With that being said, Stewart will not race today." Read more...
