Wave Rage: Surfer Tackles Drop-In for Ultimate Revenge

A New Zealand surfer did what many surfers before him have wished to do.

In the ultimate show of wave rage, Tim Thompson, decided to show a Brazilian surfer the consequence of dropping in on his wave.

In a video, first posted on gosurf.co.nz, Thompson can be seen rugby tackling a surfer that had gatecrashed three of his barrels.

The incident happened when Thompson was on a surf trip in the Mentawai Islands off Sumatra in June

He wrote on the post about the feeling all surfers get when they see 10 people "pile into the line up, all at once, heading for you like a honing missile." This is the result when one of those missiles crosses your path too many times. Read more...
