Sling Introduces Cheaper, WiFi-Enabled Slingbox M1

Sling Media on Tuesday announced an update to its Slingbox line of devices and apps, including a new entry-level Slingbox.

Slingbox, for those that have never heard of it, is the original "TV Everywhere" device. It connects to your cable or satellite box and lets you access that TV signal from a computer, iPad, iPhone, Android tablet, Roku or Apple TV.

The newest member of the Sling family is the Slingbox M1. Retailing for $149, the M1 replaces 2012's Slingbox 350. Not only is the Slingbox M1 smaller and faster than the Slingbox 350, it also comes with integrated WiFi and Ethernet. Read more...
