Shark Dies After Large Australian Sea Lion Gets Stuck in Its Throat

A shark that died at a Western Australian beach had a sea lion stuck in its throat.

A video posted on YouTube on July 12 showed a great white shark in the shallows at Coronation Beach thrashing around, before swimming out 50m and repeating the weird sequence

The post was edited two days later to say the shark's carcass had washed up on the beach.

As the video garnered shares on YouTube, at last count 18,000, the Department of Fisheries investigated the strange death.
